Explore issues related to nature, technology and society
The Environmental Philosophy Summer School promises an intellectually enriching experience with a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Vincent Blok and Mark Coeckelbergh. The lectures will delve into a myriad of pressing environmental issues, such as the problem of normative foundations of sustainability, principles of justice in decarbonization and environmental governance, environmental democracy, the myth of pristine nature, or the value of darkness in light pollution.
In addition to these thought-provoking sessions, participants will have the unique opportunity to explore firsthand the environmental challenges at the Polish coal mine Turov and go on a scenic walk in the Jizera Mountains.
